I am a New York City trained and certified psychoanalyst and psychodynamic psychotherapist in private practice in Vienna (Austria) & Granada (Spain). I am also a translator, published writer, and cultural historian.

I was on the faculty of Humboldt University, Berlin; Penn State University, and the School of Visual Arts in New York City.
I am currently teaching part time in the Gender Studies Programme at Vienna University.

Having lived and worked in several places (Germany, Spain, New York City), I am sensitive to the experiences, struggles and needs of immigrants and expats.
