I am a writer and culture critic.
I write on the visual arts, psychoanalysis,
religion (islam, christianity),
early modern culture, science & art,
germany and the memory of the holocaust,
gender, sexuality, and the body.
I live in Manhattan
and teach at the School of Visual Arts.
